People over the age of 50 who sleep less than 5 hours a day are more likely to suffer from conditions like cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. People who sleep for less than 5 hours are 30% more likely to suffer from diseases than those who sleep for 7 or more hours, PLoS Medicine has revealed in the survey
Experts point out simple measures that will help you achieve sleep easily.
1. Avoid working while looking at gadgets like mobile phones when you are about to sleep.
2. Avoid sleeping during the day.
3. Take care not to drink alcohol and coffee at night.
4. Worrying about one’s lack of sleep more than one wants is also considered to further repel sleep.
What should be done there is to forget about it and listen to music, read a book, meditate and do something that calms the mind.
