Ashley Borzellino, Development Inspector/Operator in the City of Brantford’s Development Engineering Department, has been crowned Miss Canada 2023.

Borzellino is currently a Certified Technician (C.Tech.) with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) and is working towards her Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T) designation.

The 25-year-old Ashley Borzellino wants to empower more women by challenging society standards and breaking down barriers by using her platform. Borzellino said she never saw herself as a pageant queen, but this spring, she won Miss Canada 2023, earning the title.
