Latest Judgment On A Bond Case In SriLanka

Today (11) the permanent three-judge bench of the Colombo High Court has accepted a preliminary objection raised by the defendant that the charges against Perpetual Treasuries Company under the Public Property Act cannot be maintained. Alleging breach of trust in relation to 688 million rupees bonds in the bond auction conducted by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka in 2015. Latest judgment on a bond case in SriLanka

This decision was announced on accordance of the majority of judges of the three-member High Court bench consisting of Mr. Sanjeeva Moraes, Mr. Damith Totawatta and Mr. Namal Balalle.
